DESCRIPTION
The Phenix Models HC3 and HC5 Mobile High Current Test Sets are ideal for testing thermal, magnetic, and solid-state motor overload relays as well as molded-case circuit breakers and ground fault trip devices. The units are constructed with large pneumatic wheels for mobility in the roughest terrain. Designed using the latest technology; these units combine a variable high current output with the appropriate controls and instrumentation. The test sets have a maximum output current rating of 4000 and 5000 amps respectively and feature a digital ammeter and timer. The timer displays in both cycles or seconds modes. They can also be used in many other applications requiring a high current source.

  • Input: 220-240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz
    - 25 Amp Delay (Frequency must be specified)
  • Overlaod: 4000 Amps - Short duration overloads are possible on each tap.
  • Currentmeter: 4½ digit LCD
  • Timer: 6 digit LCD, in cycles or seconds
  • Dimensions/Weight: 23"W x 23"D x 46"H; 205 lbs
