DESCRIPTION
The 7615 Solid-State Noise Generator is calibrated against a known noise-source standard that is traceable to the National Bureau of Standards. This solid-state device is small in size and high in reliability. The noise-generating diode is isolated from the output by 12 to 20 dB, consequently, there are almost no mismatch errors as the source is switched on and off, and no destructive transients are present in the output. • Frequency Range: 0.01GHz to 1.5GHz • Excess Noise Ratio: 15.5 dB nominal • Flatness vs. Frequency: ±0.5 dB • Calibration Frequencies: 0.03, 0.3, 1, and 1.5 GHz with accuracy at ±0.3 dB. 1.2 VSWR (max) • Input Connector: BNC(F) • Output Connector: N(M)
