DESCRIPTION
The 4801 Vibration Exciter Body along with one of five matching exciter heads (not included) for an exciter designed to generate precisely controled dynamic forces. The unit includes all fo the parts common to a number of exciter combinations. Voltage taps are provided for 100, 120, 127, 200, 227, 240, and 254 volts. Body rotation is ±180º lockable in any position by handwheel. The body suspension system is a low frequency system by flat trunnion springs. Resonant frequency 14Hz approximately. Lockout by twisting knob which automatically engages a high frequency, highly damped system. Suspensions are soft along the force axis but stiff along the transverse axis.
