DESCRIPTION
Phenix Technologies offers a line of DC Hipots that are lightweight, compact, ruggedly built for use in the lab or field for accurate testing of electrical switchgear, cables, motors, generators, and protective equipment. Five models are available with outputs of 0-40 kV, 0-75 kV, 0-100 kV, 0-120 kV, and 0-160 kv.
Each model includes many advanced features include high accuracy digital meters, analog charging current meter, adjustable over-current, and increased output current ratings.
Features of the 440-20:

- Output: 0-40 kVDC, up to 20 mA
- Duty Cycle: Continuous @ 10 mA, capacitive load, 10 mA 1 hour ON/1 hour OFF
- Ripple: <2% at full voltage
- Metering: 3 1/2 digit LCD
- Accuracy: +/-0.5% FS, digital meters
- Input Cable: 7' (2.3M), 3 wire, removable
- Test Cables: 3 cables, each 20' (6M) long for voltage, return and ground
- Output voltage continuously adjustable to 40 kVDC
- "Zero Start" Interlock
- Adjustable overcurrent trip point from 10%-110% of
each current range
- Large, easy to read, high accuracy digital meters
- Analog 0-100% of range current meter for visual
charge indication
- Input Circuit Breaker/Power Switch
- Thermal resetable overload
- Built in discharge circuit rated at 3 kilojoules
