DESCRIPTION
The 259 VIBROGROUND® works on a null-balance principle. The voltage drop developed by a current flowing through the unknown ground resistance is measured by comparing it to a portion of the voltage drop flowing through a calibrated potentiometer. The instrument consists of a power supply, a current supply circuit and a measuring circuit. Ranges are 0-3, 0-30, 0-300, 0-3000-ohms. The unit is designed for use in hazardous locations designated as Class 2, Group F and G locations.
