DESCRIPTION
The 10450A SMT (surface-mount technology) Kit is designed for use with the 10400 Series miniature probes when you are probing SMT printed circuit boards. The kit contains enough parts for two probes.

Install the tip of the probe into the single-lead end of the dual lead adaptor. The other end of the dual lead adaptor has two leads that fit into the IC Clips, or onto your system''s 0.635 mm (0.025 inch) diameter posts. The black lead is for ground connections. The IC Clips are for connecting to 50 mil pitch SMT parts. Also included in the kit are 2 vertical coaxial sockets and 2 right angle coaxial sockets. The 10400 Series miniature probes fit directly into the coaxial sockets. You can solder the coaxial sockets to SMT printed circuit boards to simplify the probing of circuits, and to minimize ground lead length. This kit is intended for use with voltages up to ±40V (dc + ac peak).
